A Thankful Heart

Scripture:

2 Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. 3 Don’t forget to pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to preach about his secret plan—that Christ is also for you Gentiles. That is why I am here in chains. 4 Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should. (Colossians 4:2-4 NLT)

Devote yourselves to prayer, think about prayer, do prayer. The communion with God is so important; it keeps us connected and aware of who we are, and who God is. I always feel that acknowledging thankfulness to God helps me to remember that God is God, and that I am not, and that he is more than just someone I go to when I am desperate. I want to live a life of prayer, and to always have a thankful heart.

I do thank You, Lord, for all You are to me, and all You do for me, and for my family. I am truly blessed. I love You my God, and my Father. AMEN

Father, I will trust in You, and do good. I will delight in You; You know the desires of my heart. I commit everything to You and trust You alone to help me. Psalm 37
