What About Tomorrow

Scripture:

31 “So don’t worry about having enough food or drink or clothing. 32 Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, 33 and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. 34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. (Matthew 6:31-34 NLT)

How simple Jesus says it is! He says to live for God, and make the Kingdom of God, our main concern, and he will take care of us. And yet in the world we live in, we are bombarded with so much about taking care of ourselves, and how we need things, and how we deserve things. What do we do? Can we get to the place where we believe enough not to worry about tomorrow?

Lord, Jim and I have tried to spend our lives living for You, and serving You. You have been so very faithful to provide for us all we have needed! Help me to remember that always, and to trust You in this season of our life. Thank You that You are there for us, and that You are faithful. AMEN

Father, I will give You my true thanks, and fulfill my vows to You. I will trust You in times of trouble, and give You the glory. I know that giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors You. Psalm 50
