Watch My Ways

1 So imitate me, watch my ways, follow my example, just as I, too, always seek to imitate the Anointed One. (1 Corinthians 11:1 The Voice) Who might be watching me/you today? Is it our children, our grandchildren, our neighbors, our co-workers, or maybe our fellow church members? Paul was bold in saying that if those he worked with would watch him, they would find him always aware and following the ways of God. I’m not saying we should become paranoid about who might be watching, but that if we say we are children of God, there will be those who are watching. I remember well that when I first became a Christian, my dad watched me closely to see if I was following through with my behavior. Yes, God, above all You are looking down, and I so want You to see me living for You. “The Lord looks down from heaven on the entire human race to see if even one with real understanding, one who seeks for God.
