More Completely

Scripture: 24 A Jewish man by the name of Apollos arrived in Ephesus. He was a native of Alexandria and was recognized as an educated and cultured man. He was powerful in the Scriptures, 25 had accepted Jesus, and had been taught about the Lord. He was spiritually passionate for Jesus and a convincing teacher, although he only knew about the baptism of John. 26 He fearlessly preached in the synagogue. But when Priscilla and Aquila heard Apollos’ teachings, the met with him privately and revealed to him the ways of God more completely. (Acts 18:24-26 The Passion) There are a couple things in this portion of Scripture for me today. First, here was a man who was educated and knowledgeable and well received in the synagogue, but he had more he could learn. Second, when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they did not try to teach him publically, but took him aside privately. I can learn more; need to learn more. Father, You have been faithful in teaching me and showing me more of Your truth. Thank You so much! AMEN Here is what I have learned by living my life; not to be impatient or to give up. To be entwined as one with my God. To be brave and courageous, and to never lose hope. To keep on waiting – for He will never disappoint me! Psalm 27
