Who Do You Say I Am

Scripture: 27 Then Jesus and his disciples walked to the villages near Caesarea Philippi. On the way, he posed this question to his disciples. “Who do the people say that I am?” 28 They replied, “Some say John the Baptizer, others say Elijah the prophet, and still others say you must be one of the prophets.” 29 He asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Peter spoke up, saying, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God!” (Mark 8:27-29 The Passion) “Who do you say I am?” I believe that is a good question to ask ourselves today as well. Who we say He is in our hearts will determine to a large degree how we live our lives. For if you let your life go for my sake and for the sake of the gospel, you will continually experience true life. (Mark 8:35 The Passion) Maybe this could be a good question to ask ourselves often, “Who do I say you are?” Father, I do consider this question. You alone are my God and Savior. I want to always keep this real in my heart and life. I love You. AMEN Yes, I will make God the utmost delight and pleasure of my life. I will give Him the right to direct my life and trust Him along the way. Psalm 37
