Who Are We Seeking

Scripture: 9 So what then? Are we Jews better off? Not at all. We have made it clear that people everywhere, Jews and non-Jews, are living under the power of sin. 10 Here’s what Scripture says: No one is righteous—not even one. 11 There is no one who understands the truth ; no one is seeking after the one True God. 12 All have turned away; together they’ve become worthless. No one does good, not even one. (Romans 3:9-12 The Voice) God has given us the right to seek who or what we choose. What/who are we seeking? That is a question to ask ourselves often. 1 For the choir director: A meditation; a psalm of David. Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good! 2 God looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God. 3 But no, all have turned away; all have become corrupt. No one does good, not a single one! (Psalm 53:1-3 NLT) I sincerely do not want to be one who turns away, but rather one who seeks God and His ways. God has shown His faithfulness to me over and over. I want to show Him my faithfulness. God, You hear my heart this morning, and know that I truly seek after You and Your ways. Thank You for Your continued faithfulness to me. AMEN I do praise You, Lord, for You have shown me Your unfailing love. As I put my hope in You alone, I will be strong and courageous! Psalm 31
