Study, Obey, Teach

Scripture:

10 This was because Ezra had determined to study and obey the law of the LORD and to teach those laws and regulations to the people of Israel. (Ezra 7:10 NLT)

Ezra was a good leader of the people. He was very careful in the things he did, and the things he taught. He first studied the law of the Lord, then obeyed it himself, and finally, taught it to the people of Israel.

People don’t need just facts and information, they need to hear truth that has worked, is working in the lives of others; in the lives of those who teach. They need to hear words that give them something to use in their daily lives.

14 The teaching of a wise person gives life. It is like a fountain that can save people from death. (Proverbs 13:14)

Thank You for wise teachers, Lord. Help me in the times that I teach to give life; to give the people something that they can use on a daily basis in real life. Thank You for life. I love You. AMEN

The steps of the godly are directed by the Lord. He delights in every detail of their lives. If they stumble, they will not fall for the Lord holds them. Psalm 37
