Ordinary Fellows

Scripture: 13 Now the leaders were surprised and confused. They looked at Peter and John and realized they were typical peasants — uneducated, utterly ordinary fellows—with extraordinary confidence. The leaders recognized them as companions of Jesus, 14 then they turned their attention to the third man standing beside them—recently lame, now standing tall and healthy. What could they say in response to all this? (Acts 4:13-14 The Voice) What do you do if you don’t believe, or don’t want to believe? These leaders were really at a loss of what to do. The miracle had been done so publicly, and so many had believed. It seemed to go against all that they thought was the right way to do things. The only thing they were left with was to tell Peter and John not to talk/preach about Jesus anymore. How silly really! How do we as ordinary people do extraordinary things? Just as Peter and John did; with the help of the Holy Spirit! Thank You, Lord, for the times You have used me, an ordinary person, to do the things You have asked me to do. You have been so very faithful to me, and to our family. I thank You and praise You. AMEN Yes, the Word of the Lord holds true, and everything He does is just and good. His unfailing love fills the earth. Thank You, Lord. Psalm 33
