Hold On

Scripture: 12 Brothers and sisters, pay close attention so you won’t develop an evil and unbelieving heart that causes you to abandon the living God. 13 Encourage each other every day—for as long as we can still say “today”—so none of you let the deceitfulness of sin harden your hearts. 14 For we have become partners with the Anointed One—if we can just hold on to our confidence, gained when we became faithful, until the end. (Hebrews 3:12-14 The Voice) Hold on to our confidence! How do we do that? The importance of daily Bible reading, prayer, encouragement of one another will help keep us away from the deceitfulness of sin. Keeping ourselves aware each day of who God is, and who He is in our lives is so important. Also, just being grateful for God’s abundant goodness will help keep us/me focused. So now, come back to your God! Act on the principles of love and justice, and always live in confident dependence on your God. (Hosea 12:6 NLT) Thank You, Father, for who You are in my life; for all You provide in so many, many ways. I want to hold on, and keep my confidence real on a daily basis. You are so good; yes, You are a good, good Father. AMEN It is good to sing praises, to You, my God! It is delightful and right. How great You are, my Lord. Your power is absolute! Psalm 147
