It’s interesting that Jonathan, the man who had the most to lose if David became successful, loved and protected David. What a great guy!

A shepherd’s heart will prompt me to put myself in harm’s way and to make sacrifices for those I lead and influence.

How do I do when something that doesn’t look good for me might actually be God’s plan and purpose?

I must be careful that my words, spoken in whatever frame of mind and state of emotion, don’t bring harm to others.

I need to know my God-set boundaries so that I can fill them up in the time God has given me.
