The benefits or rewards we receive in this life are sweet and good, but they don’t represent the whole picture.

I’m learning that God loves me not because I am good, but because God is good!

Solomon, even with his superior knowledge and wisdom, lacked the assurance of meaning and purpose that can only come through revelation.

It is his unchanging plan to make us his beloved children through Jesus Christ.

Are you taking the time and making the effort to give honor, show respect, and express appreciation for others?

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.

We each have our own history, our own baggage, our own prejudices to live with and, by the Grace of God, to overcome.

See how different God’s way is from man’s way? See how much better God’s way is!?

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

In the midst of responsible attention to life’s challenges, I don’t want to ever lose the sense of wonder and awe at God’s goodness and greatness and kindness!
