Under God’s new plan we don’t merely learn about God in a class, or from a book, instead, we get to know God in a living relationship.

There is some sacrifice involved in representing people to God and representing God to people. We are called to lay down our lives for those we love and serve.

One of the things that is foundational to my belief system is that God does not, in fact cannot, lie.

The process of learning trusting-obedience through suffering and submission produces full maturity and becomes an example and encouragement to others.

I grasp as firmly as I can this thing that I believe—that Jesus understands my weaknesses.

Think carefully about this Jesus. Consider how he loves, how he cares, how he serves, how he sacrifices, and live like that. Forgive others the way he forgives us.

How does God want to demonstrate his grace through you and me today? What will it cost? Am I willing to pay the price? Are you willing?

We must not stubbornly refuse to allow the church to change, adapt, and remain relevant to the culture, any culture, in which she functions.

In Christ, there is neither slave nor master, Jew nor Greek, male nor female, rich nor poor. In this world we live in, those things have to be worked out with openness and honesty and love.

God chose me because he loves me, and because he chose me, I’m his child.
