I Will Refresh

Scripture: 28 “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. 29 Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. 30 For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” (Matthew 11:28-30 The Passion) Jesus’ promise to us is that if we go to Him, He will refresh our life; over and over actually. As we learn His ways (through reading his Word, listening to sermons, hearing stories of what God has done for others), we will always discover that Jesus is gentle and easy to please. Where else will we find the rest and refreshment that Jesus has for us? Thank You, Jesus, for this promise of Your refreshment. This was a promise You gave me many years ago, and I still rest in that promise. Thank You. AMEN I know that every word God speaks is sure and every promise pure.
