Hope We’ve Been Given

Scripture: 2 We rest in this hope we’ve been given —the hope that we will live forever with our God— the hope that He proclaimed ages and ages ago (even before time began). And our God is no liar; He is not even capable of uttering lies. 3 So we can be sure that it is in His exact right time that He released His word into the world —through the preaching that God our Savior has commanded into my care. (Titus 1:2-3 The Voice) Oh, the confidence and hope we can have through our belief in who our savior is, and what He has done for us! Paul is encouraging Titus to remember this, and to preach it in a place that is full of evil. What a challenge that must have been! We still live in a world that is full of evil and we have the privilege of sharing this hope we have with those around us. His word brings into the world the absolute clarity of God’s perspective and life-saving knowledge. Thank You, Father, for the hope and confidence I have through Your Son. It has kept me anchored and brought me joy for many years. Your faithfulness and unfailing has been with me, and will be with me forever. AMEN I will thank You, Lord, with all my heart for Your deeds are amazing. Because I delight in You, I will ponder them and thank You. Psalm 111
